Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Lihai La products and services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using any Lihai La LLC ("Lihai La," "we," "us," or "our") products or services, including but not limited to Ultimate Book Writer, SuiSui, LiveTranslate, Parrovo, Annua and Rungs, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Services

2.1 Ultimate Book Writer

An AI-powered mobile application for Android and iOS devices that assists users in writing books through AI-generated outlines, chapter assistance, cover generation and various export formats.

2.2 LiveTranslate and Parrovo

LiveTranslate is a browser extension for Chrome and Edge, and Parrovo is a macOS application. Both produce live translated captions from audio, with optional spoken translation, and draw on a shared balance of hours held against your account.

2.3 SuiSui, Annua and Rungs

Standalone applications that run entirely on your device. They have no account, no server component and no network communication. Sections 3, 4 and 7 do not apply to them.

3. User Accounts

The following applies to products that use an account — Ultimate Book Writer, LiveTranslate and Parrovo:

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • You must be at least 13 years old to use our services
  • One person or entity may not maintain multiple accounts

4. Credits, Hours and Payments

4.1 Ultimate Book Writer Credits

  • Ultimate Book Writer uses a credit-based system for AI content generation
  • Credits are purchased in packages: Starter Pack ($10/10 credits), Pro Pack ($50/50 credits), Author Pack ($100/100 credits)
  • New users receive 10 free credits upon registration
  • Credits are non-refundable and do not expire
  • Credit consumption varies based on content length and complexity

4.2 LiveTranslate and Parrovo Hours

  • Live translation is metered in hours, purchased as needed rather than by subscription
  • Hours do not expire and are shared between the browser extension and the Mac application on the same account
  • Hours are consumed only while a translation session is running

4.3 Paid Applications and One-Time Unlocks

  • Annua and Rungs offer a one-time in-app purchase that unlocks additional functionality
  • These purchases are not subscriptions and do not recur
  • Purchases made through the App Store or Google Play are subject to that store's refund policy

4.4 Payment Terms

  • All payments are processed securely through third-party payment processors
  • Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice
  • Refunds are provided only in accordance with our refund policy
  • You are responsible for any applicable taxes

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use our services to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Create, share, or distribute illegal, harmful, or offensive content
  • Infringe upon intellectual property rights of others
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Use our services for spam, fraud, or malicious activities
  • Generate content that promotes hate speech, violence, or discrimination
  • Create content that violates platform policies of third-party services
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code

6. Intellectual Property Rights

6.1 Our Content

All content, features, and functionality of our services, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are owned by Lihai La and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

6.2 User Content

  • You retain ownership of content you create using our services
  • You grant us a limited license to process and store your content to provide our services
  • You are responsible for ensuring you have rights to any content you input into our services
  • AI-generated content may be subject to specific terms regarding originality and usage rights

7. Data and Privacy

  • Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy
  • We collect and process data as described in our Privacy Policy
  • Ultimate Book Writer offers Google Drive backup functionality with user consent
  • SuiSui, Annua and Rungs transmit no data at all, because they contain no networking code
  • You can request deletion of your data as outlined in our Privacy Policy

8. Service Availability

  • We strive to maintain high service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access
  • We may perform maintenance that temporarily affects service availability
  • We reserve the right to modify or discontinue services with reasonable notice
  • AI model availability may vary based on third-party service providers

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for services in the 12 months preceding the claim
  • We are not responsible for content generated by AI models or user actions

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lihai La from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our services, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights of others.

11. Termination

  • You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms
  • Upon termination, your right to use our services ceases immediately
  • Certain provisions of these Terms survive termination

12. Third-Party Services

  • Our services may integrate with third-party services (Google Drive, AI providers, etc.)
  • Use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms and policies
  • We are not responsible for third-party service availability or performance

13. Geographic Restrictions

Our services are operated from the United States. We make no representation that our services are appropriate or available for use in other jurisdictions. Users accessing our services from other jurisdictions do so at their own risk and are responsible for compliance with local laws.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes through our services or via email. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States
  • Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in Delaware
  • The arbitration will be conducted in English
  • Class action waivers apply where legally permissible

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

18. KiteGEO

KiteGEO (lihaila.com/geo; 风筝GEO助手 in Chinese) measures how AI assistants respond to questions about a brand's market.

What a report is

A report records what the assistants answered at the time of the check. AI answers change from one ask to the next and over time, and the score is our summary of those answers, not a measurement by the assistants' makers. KiteGEO does not guarantee any ranking, mention, traffic or sales, and the action plan is advice, not a promise of results.

Free checks

The free check is limited per network and per day, and we may change or pause it at any time.

Full Report (one-time purchase)

Paid in advance and delivered online. If a report fails to complete because of a problem on our side, we will re-run it, or refund you if we can't. Because the report is digital content produced on request, we don't otherwise offer refunds once it has been delivered, except where the law requires it.

Pro and Agency subscriptions

These renew monthly until cancelled. You can cancel at any time in the billing portal, and access continues until the end of the period you have paid for. We don't refund part-months.

Pro passes (one-time)

A pass gives Pro for the period bought, does not renew, and is not refundable once started, except where the law requires it.

Acceptable use

Check brands you own, work for, or are researching legitimately. Don't use KiteGEO to harass, defame or mislead, and don't try to get around the free limits or overload the service.
