Question 1

What is GEO?

Accepted Answer

Generative Engine Optimization is making your brand easy for AI assistants to find, understand, trust and recommend. SEO wins a spot in a list of links; GEO wins a mention inside the answer itself.

Question 2

Are these real AI answers?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We send each question to each assistant through its official API and grade what comes back. The free check uses each model's built-in knowledge; the full report also runs live web search, which is what ChatGPT search and Grok do for most users.

Question 3

Why do answers change between runs?

Accepted Answer

AI answers vary from one ask to the next. That's why we ask several questions across several assistants and score the pattern — and why weekly tracking matters more than any single check.

Question 4

How is the score calculated?

Accepted Answer

60% visibility (are you named for unbranded buyer questions, how high, how positively), 20% reputation (do assistants know you and describe you well), 20% AI readiness of your website. Each part is shown separately in the report.

Question 5

Can I get recommended more?

Accepted Answer

Usually, yes. The biggest levers are being listed on the sites AIs cite, clear factual content that answers buyer questions, structured data, and not blocking AI crawlers. The action plan tells you which apply to you, in order.
